Week 8: Art Around the World: Exploring Cultural Practices and Art - August 17 –  21, 2026

Discover the World Through Legendary Art
Step into a universe of iconic masterpieces, monumental architecture, and cultural wonders from across the globe. Students journey through the mysterious Lascaux Caves, scale the heights of the Eiffel Tower, and explore dragons guarding the Forbidden City while bringing these inspirations to life in their own bold artworks. Using watercolour, acrylic painting, and textured drawing techniques, campers study landscapes, design, and intricate patterns to capture the spirit of each culture. This week transforms observation into creation, imagination into skill, and every corner of the world becomes a canvas for extraordinary artistic adventure.

Art-Kitect’s Studio and Art Camp are located at 401 Danforth Ave., Toronto on the Upper Floor. Our camp day is from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday – Friday. Morning drop off begins at 8:45 AM. Evening Pick Up is 4:00 – 4:15 PM. A late fee will be applied after 4:20 PM.Please bring a lunch, two snacks and a water bottle. 

Please only wear clothes you can get paint on (please do not dress your child in their favourite outfit or designer clothes of any kind).
